Controversial Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has put a stop to her acting career.

This sad news was announced today on her Instagram page by her management, revealing that the actress was battling an undisclosed disease.

In a statement released by her team, Halima’s wish was to stop acting.

She expressed gratitude to all her fans and appreciated them for their love and prayers.

“Halima Abubakar quit acting we are so grateful for all the prayers. God bless you all but as from today, she will no longer act. It is her wish. We love you all. Thank you for the support. She is so downcast. She really did love acting. Thank you”.
